Frequently Asked Questions
How does the booking process work?
After filling out the inquiry form, I will contact you as soon as I can. If I have your date available, we will move to the next step to book!
Once the contract is signed and booking fee is sent, you are officially booked!
Is a trial required?
No, a trial is not required. But it is highly recommended, as it allows you to visualize a hairstyle with your dress and other details in mind.
The trial includes a consultation to discuss your inspiration photos and what would look best with your hair type, wedding dress, and accessories.
After the trial, feel free to give any feedback or changes you would like to make. The trial hairstyle does not have to be your final wedding hairstyle, anything can be changed!
Trials are generally booked at least 45 days before your wedding date.
Trials are generally done at a studio in Newburgh, NY
Can i bring someone to my trial?
I recommend coming to your trial by yourself, because this allows us to focus on your vision without outside opinions influencing the process.
However, if you would feel more comfortable bringing someone for support, you are absolutely welcome to!
How do i prep my hair?
The best hair to style is clean, dry hair (no air drying). Hair should be blown out smooth unless you have naturally curly hair and want to have a curly style.
When Do i need to know my final headcount For the wedding day?
When booking, it is preferred to know a rough estimate of the amount of people receiving hair services. But, it is required to know the final headcount 60 days before the wedding.
How should I prepare for my trial?
In order to visualize how your hair and makeup will look on the wedding day, consider wearing a wide neck white top or a white tank top.
Please bring inspiration photos to share, or your Pinterest! It is also helpful to see photos of your wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, and any other inspiration/decor photos for your wedding day.
You may bring a veil, hair accessories, or jewelry you plan on wearing. If undecided, this is something that we can discuss at the appointment and I will be happy to advise you on the best options for your look!
what if i want touch ups during the day?
I can provide touchups for the bride and all who received hair services from me. Touch up services are $100/hr.
Do you travel?

The travel fee is $30 per half hour of travel and is calculated round-trip from my home to your getting ready location.
If the travel is 2+ hours, hotel accommodations are required for the night before.
